Victor Hicks

Victor “Coach”Hicks is the founder and director of Coding with Culture, an organization designed to create a Kindergarten through HBCU pathway in Computer Science and STEM. Victor Hicks is also a K-8th grade STEM teacher in Decatur, Georgia.  Victor’s innovative approach, combining project based learning with culturally relevant topics such as Historically Black College history and culture serves as the core of the Coding With Culture camps, curriculum and educator professional development.. Victor’s work has been featured at  several educational technology conferences, including IDEA Illinois and his upcoming service as Georgia Educational Technology Conference 2022 Thought Leader.  In addition, Coding with Culture was featured in EdTech and Forbes magazine in early 2022.
