NEW LEADERSHIP EVENT
TLE WORKSHOP
GaETC is excited to offer a pre-conference Trusted Learning Environment (TLE) workshop on Tuesday, October 31st as part of our Leadership Strand for district and school technology leaders. Led by Linnette Attai, President of Playwell, LLC. and the nation’s preeminent expert on data privacy, along with Derrick Johnson , Director of Information Technology Security, Fulton County Schools, participants will examine their districts’ data and security policies and procedures aligning to the application for CoSN’s TLE seal. The CoSN Trusted Learning Environment (TLE) Seal program is the nation’s only privacy framework designed specifically for school systems. The TLE program helps K12 schools and districts build strong, effective privacy programs, and a culture of trust and transparency.*
This workshop will be a hands-on workshop. Participants are expected to bring their own devices and their current policies and documented procedures. Even if you never intend to submit the TLE Seal application, there is great value in examining your policies and practices along with peer review and comparison to national and international standards. Lunch will be provided.
Don’t miss this opportunity to strengthen your district’s data and security posture and community culture of trust! Register here today!
