- Tuesday, November 5 is our pre-conference workshop day. We’ve specifically offered a number of workshops for technical staff. See the complete list of workshops available. One workshop designed specifically for district leaders is the CoSN Trusted Learning Environments Workshop.
The TLE Seal Program is an initiative of CoSN (the Consortium for School Networking), in association with AASA, the School Superintendents Association, the Association of School Business Officials International (ASBO), and ASCD. The program requires schools to have implemented student data privacy protections that meet a set of high standards around 5 core practice areas. Schools that demonstrate that they have met the Program requirements will be able to display the TLE Seal, signifying their commitment to student data privacy.
During this workshop, participants will preview the TLE Seal application and receive guidance for organizing the required documentation, improving your practices and moving towards you TLE Seal. We will also discuss the possibility of building a Georgia TLE Cohort. Linnette Attai, President, PlayWell LLC and Director of CoSN’s Privacy Initiative and Trusted Learning Environment Program is leading the workshop. **Note: We have a door prize from CoSN that will be awarded to one workshop participant!
