Suzy demonstrates exceptional growth in the field of instructional technology by continually looking for certification, coaching, and training opportunities. She is currently coaching 8 schools in Paulding County, which leaves little office time, but Suzy finds time to be an active Microsoft Innovative Educator, a Novel Effect ambassador, a Flip SVA, and a Canvas Certified Educator. She not only presents at conferences like STEMapalooza, TCEA, and GaETC, but she seeks out other educators to coach and encourages those teachers to share their skills at conferences as well.

I am living evidence of Suzy’s positive contributions to this profession. When I first met Suzy, she was working for Kennesaw State University and training teachers in Paulding County. I was an online teacher for the Paulding County Virtual Academy. Her love for instructional technology, teachers, and students instantly caught my attention. The tools she shared opened up a new passion in me. Because of her infectious love for this field, I am now an instructional technology coach.
